Hello Piranha families!

We are hard at work gearing up for another exciting summer
swim season!

As we get closer to the start of the season, I am looking
for some volunteers who would like to head up some of the committee chairs. Reach out if you are interested or want more information! We
are looking for:

• Spirit Wear Designer and/or Coordinator:
  Designing all spirit wear for the team and collecting orders. We’ve typically
  used Custom Ink for ordering and designing, which makes things pretty easy!
• Volunteer Coordinator: In charge of checking in
  all volunteers at all meets and work with the team rep to ensure all volunteer
  spots are filled.
• Piranha of the Week Coordinator: Coordinates our
  Piranha bandits, sending out assignments each week. Coaches will provide a list
  of Piranhas of the week to the coordinator who will then disseminate the
  information to the bandits.
• End of season banquet Coordinator: Will work
  with team rep to plan and set up of end of the season bash, to include choosing
  food/caterer and collecting RSVPS for food.
• Concessions Chair: In charge of running and organizing concessions at all home meets

We will have our April Pools Day event on April 6^th
from 1pm- 3pm at the pool. This is a great opportunity for new and returning
families to come out, meet the coaches and reps, and learn more about our
awesome summer swim program! As the event gets closer, I will send out a flyer
with more details.

Registration for GBSRC members will open April 1^st.
Registration for Invite-A-Friend (IAF) will open April 8^th. Registration
fees will remain the same:

• GBSRC Members: $135 for first swimmer, $105 for
  each additional swimmer
• Invite A Friend (IAF): $250 for first swimmer,
  $205 for each additional swimmer

As a reminder, those who did the IAF last year cannot do IAF
again this year. A GBSRC membership would be required to join the swim team
again this year. We do run a promotional membership deal that would allow you
to join the pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day at a reduced rate of $550. This
would allow you to join the swim team at the GBSRC member rate and grant your
family access to both the pool and tennis courts all summer long! This is an
awesome deal if you aren’t quite sure you are ready to fully commit to
membership! Please let me know if you’d like more information on that
