Parent meeting summary
Parent meeting summary:
-Make sure you are signed up for the Remind App! We use this mainly to inform parents in real time of any practice delays/cancelations due to weather! You can use this number to join the class if the regular text number isn’t working: Text @piranhas24 to (415) 813-2646.
-Time trials are coming up this weekend, June 8th! Please make sure your swimmers are signed in or out by Monday evening (June 3rd). This can be done through Swimtopia website under ‘Events and Meets’. Job sign-ups for this are also open!
-RSVPs for Laser tag is needed by today. This event is open to all swimmers and family members! Please RSVP on the Swimtopia website!
-Please make sure you sign your swimmers in/out of meets so the coaches can start completing event enteries!
-Volunteer requirements: Each family must meet the volunteer requirements for the team. This is: volunteering for at least 3 sessions per family for the season. Each meet is broken into two halves, and volunteering for one half is considered 1 session. Each job is explained in the new parent guide listed on the Swimtopia website. Job sign ups open the Sunday before each meet, so sign up early if you want a specific job!
If you feel you will have difficulties meeting the volunteer requirements, please reach out to the Team Reps! We do have jobs available that are outside of the meets. If your family does not meet the requirements, fees may be assessed in addition to your swimmers not being able to register with the team next year.

-Starting with the June 10th practice, we ask that parents clear the pool deck once practice has started. This is to help ensure the swimmers are focusing on the coaches and what they need to be doing. We know the swimmers can be nervous or even excited to show off to their parents all their cool new swim moves, but that can take away from what they should be doing. We welcome parents to help get swimmers ready and prepared for practice and to come back on deck 5 mins prior to practice ending to help swimmers pack up!
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to one to the team reps (Avery or Connie) with any questions or concerns! We are always happy to help and answer any questions you have! The team rep email is [email protected]
We are looking forward to a fun and exciting swim season!!
See you at the pool!
Connie & Avery
